Thank you for your interest in Ramona Vicente Pony Club. We welcome new members at any time through the year although National and Regional fees will only cover till the end of the year what ever time of the year you join. Club fees are monthly.

This is an excellent instruction program but requires a commitment from the new member and parents to follow the policies laid down by the United States Pony Club. These rules are mainly for safety of the horse, member, and those involved in the program.

The local pony club is usually run by the parents and we encourage each parent to take on the responsibility for some area of the program. This of course comes with training and we usually tap into the skills that someone already has. Some people are good with book keeping, others with organization, there is fund raising, field trips, work groups and more.

This will help you understand more about the program.

If you are interested in becoming part of this organization, and we hope you are, we would like to talk to the new member and a parent before you join. We can answer questions that have not been covered yet. This can be done at a riding meeting where you can meet other parents, or it can be in the evening at the house of one of the officers. Please call David Maskall at (760) 788-1955 to make arrangements.

We will need to evaluate your horse to make sure he/she is suitable for group lessons. We will also evaluate the new member to see where he/she fits into the program.

A Medical Release Form
Please fill in as much as you can and we will review them with you.

First month Club dues, Regional dues and National dues total $195.00, Please make your check payable to RVPC
You will receive a Pony Club Manual and pin.
Club dues are $45 each month and that covers 2 mounted and 2 unmounted lessons a month. Other activities may cost extra. Fund raising can help reduce these costs.
